Out on a Limb Orchids takes great pride in producing the highest quality orchids in a variety of stages of growth. We strive to keep our customers happy by providing excellent customer service and high quality plants that are true to the size represented and priced fairly. We are committed to introducing new mericlones and hybrids on a regular basis.

Out on a Limb Orchids is located on Camano Island in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, one hour north of Seattle. Here we are blessed with moderate temperatures, a constant breeze, and pure Northwest rain water. These conditions allow us to produce high quality orchid plants in a wide range of temperature preferences, from cool-growing varieties to the warmer growers.

We take great pride in our orchid plants and have spent the past ten years perfecting our growing techniques to achieve some of the highest quality plants on the market today. We place emphasis on achieving vivid colors in a wide range of color combinations with manageable growth habits. Many of our plants bloom 2+ times per year.

We offer a large assortment of Mericlones and Hybrids, with a constant emphasis on exciting new releases and always on high quality. We mericlone the finest new varieties that have been proven through extensive field testing. In addition, we mericlone some of the "greatest hits" of the past few years that have proven to be favorites with the public. We receive about half a dozen AOS awards each year on our plants. Many of these awarded plants are now being mericloned for release in the near future. Our primary focus is on the Oncidinae and Miltoniopsis groups. We are also introducing a limited number of outstanding new clones in Cattleya, Zygopetalum, Cymbidium, Epidendrum, and Equitant Oncidiums.

We offer plants in a variety of sizes, including community pots, plugs from cell trays, and 2 inch pots. From time to time we also sell a limited number of flasks. We grow a limited number of plants into 3", 4", and 6" sizes. Spiking plants are also available. Please contact us for current availability in these areas.
